The domestic recording was made on a '[[w:Wire recording|wire machine]]', and these were notorius for distortion, and, especially, [[w:Wow and flutter measurement|speed instability]]. The Ellington numberr was recorded, but the [[w:Wow (recording)|wow]] is so excruciating that Ted had to omit it.
